Method 1: Measuring tape
What you need
- A paper strip, tape, or a measuring tape (ideally in mm)
- A pen to mark the paper or tape
- Clean natural nails with no products, overlays or press ons
Step 1: Measure the width
Measure the width of each nail at its widest point. Note the value for each finger separately, and measure both hands, since sizes often differ.
Step 2: Match with the size chart
Compare your measured values with my size chart. If a value falls between two sizes, go for the larger size and file it down slightly if needed.
Tip: Different lengths and shapes can vary slightly. For S and XS lengths, it is best to order a Sizing Kit.
Method 2: Sizing Kit
What you need
- Nailpression Sizing Kit
- A pen and paper to note your sizes
- Clean natural nails with no products, overlays or press ons
Step 1: Try on the tips
Try the tips from the Sizing Kit on each nail. The tip should fit from sidewall to sidewall without touching your skin or overhanging. Note the best fitting size for each finger separately, and check both hands, since sizes often differ.
Step 2: Choose your size
Compare your results with my size chart. If a nail falls between two sizes, go for the larger size and file it down slightly if needed.
Tip: Different lengths and shapes can vary slightly. The Sizing Kit shows you the fit on your own nails, making it the most reliable way to find your perfect size.
